Pimiento Cheese-Bacon Barbecue Burgers


makes 5

1 1/2 lbs 80% lean ground beef


1/2 cup Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce, divided


2 Tbsp Kyvan Dry Barbecue Rub


1 recipe Jalapeno Pimiento Cheese

10 cooked bacon slices

5 sturdy bakery-style hamburger buns, split & toasted on the grill

etc


lettuce * tomato * red onion * creole mustard


Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce

preheat the grill to 350 to 400 degrees

combine the ground beef, 1/4 cup Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce &


2 Tbsp Kyvan Dry Barbecue Rub in a large bowl

shape the beef mixture into 5 hamburger patties about 1/2-inch thick

two


grill the hamburger patties 4 to 5 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness


baste the patties the last few minutes w/ the remaining 1/4 cup Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce


grill the cut sides of the buns until grill marks appear

layer the burgers onto the bottom half of the buns


top each burger w/ a generous helping of cool

Jalapeno Pimiento Cheese & a couple of bacon slices

add additional toppings as desired

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 bottle KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 6 ounces tomato, paste
  • 1 tablespoon creole seasonings
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pack Hawaiian Rolls

 

Directions:

Mix seasoning blend together and set aside. Add about 2 tablespoons of olive oil to pan over medium heat, add bell pepper and onions, saute 5 minutes, season with 1 tablespoon of seasoning blend, add garlic, cook 1 minute more. Add ground turkey, season with 2 tablespoons of spice blend, mix well, cook 10 minutes, breaking up meat to brown evenly. Add tomato paste and mix well, cook 4 minutes, add tomato sauce, and bottle of KYVAN barbeque sauce, add remaining seasonings. Mix well, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes. Serve on Hawaiian rolls and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
1lb. ground beef or ground turkey
1 smoke sausage link (cut in circular pieces) (pork or turkey)
30 slices of pepperoni (pork or turkey)
Pack of spaghetti noodles
3 (16oz) jars of KYVAN Mild Salsa
1 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ sauce
2 cans of tomato sauce 15oz
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 teaspoons parsley
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS:
Boil spaghetti until noodles are soft and drain.
Cook ground beef and sausage links until done and drain excess.
Mix sauces and seasonings together in a bowl.
Combine 7-8 cups of sauce mixture, noodles, pepperoni, and other meats in a crockpot and cook on low for 2 hrs.
If needed, add extra sauce while cooking.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
3 pound whole chicken
2-14oz cans of cream corn
1 can of diced petite tomatoes 28oz
2 cans of butter beans 14oz. (drained)
2-14oz. cans green peas (drained)
1 large onion (diced)
1 bottle KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 jar KYVAN Mild Salsa
1/4 cup parsley
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 teaspoons KYVAN Original Hot Sauce
68 fl-oz. of water (about 8 1/2 cups)

DIRECTIONS:
Put water and whole chicken in a big pot and boil chicken until done.
Remove chicken from pot but do not discard the water (broth).
Debone the chicken and cut into small pieces (place cut chicken pieces back in the broth).
Brown ground beef in skillet and drain.
Place ground beef and all of the other ingredients in the pot and simmer on low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours occasionally stirring.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of Dark Brown sugar
2 jars KYVAN mild salsa (16 oz)
1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1/2 cup KYVAN BBQ sauce
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 can baked beans (28 oz) (drained)

DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients except beans.
Pour the baked beans and 2 cups of sauce in a cooking dish and cook uncovered for 1 hr at 350 degrees.
***Can refrigerate the unused sauce and use again at a later date.
***Sauce also tasty in spaghetti and on grilled chicken.

INGREDIENTS:
14 medium shrimp (tail on)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 TBS lemon juice
3 TBS olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/4 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
(5.5 oz.) container field green lettuce mix
1/4 cup of sliced almonds
1/2 cup of red onion, sliced thin
4-6 medium radishes, sliced thin

Blackberry Honey Vinaigrette Dressing:
TBS Dijon mustard
2 TBS red wine vinegar
1 TBS olive oil
1 tsp. KYVAN Blackberry Honey

DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl combine shrimp, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Mix to combine. Marinade 1-2 hours in fridge.
When ready, preheat grill to medium-high. Spray with cooking spray.
Skewer shrimp.
Sear on both sides for about 1 minute.
Reduce heat to low.
Baste shrimp with barbecue sauce until cooked through and pink. About 5-7 minutes.
To make dressing, whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
To assemble salads, divide lettuce, onions, radish and almonds evenly on 2 large plates.
Top each salad with 7 shrimp each.
Serve with dressing on side.
Makes 2 dinner size salads.

INGREDIENTS:
4 (1/2 inch thick) pork chops
salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Season pork chops with salt and pepper to your liking.
Place the olive oil in frying pan on high heat and cook chops 2 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side.
Remove from frying pan and place chops in glass baking dish sprayed with Pam.
Coat the chops (top and bottom) with desired amounts of BBQ Sauce and bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:
Bag of chicken drummettes
KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Fry wings until crisp.
Place 15 wings in a bowl and pour-in 1/2 cup of BBQ Sauce.
Place a lid on the bowl and shake until wings are covered with the sauce.

INGREDIENTS:
1 ready-made pizza dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 cups diced precooked chicken
1/2 – 3/4 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/4 cup diced red onions
4 thin strips of bacon (pull apart into small pieces)

DIRECTIONS:
Spread oil on top of pizza crust.
Then spread BBQ sauce on top of crust.
Next, sprinkle cheese, chicken, bacon and onions on pizza.
Cook at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

KYVAN™ BBQ Baby Back Ribs

INGREDIENTS:
2 Slabs of baby back ribs
Gallon of apple cider or apple juice
KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub
KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Clean ribs and remove the thin film on bottom of ribs.
Season ribs with desired amounts of BBQ rub and then place ribs in a deep aluminum pan.
Pour apple cider over the ribs and let marinade overnight in refrigerator (covered).
Before cooking, remove from apple cider and slightly pat ribs dry.
Add more rub if desired.
Let ribs become room temperature and set grill to 250-275 degrees (charcoal grill is preferred).
Let ribs cook for 2 hrs (don’t flip ribs) and then brush BBQ sauce on ribs and let cook another 30 minutes.
Remove ribs from grill and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
2 lb. pork tenderloin
12 fl oz. bottle root beer
19 oz. bottle KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
Hamburger buns (toasted)

DIRECTIONS:
Place pork tenderloin in a slow cooker and pour root beer over the meat.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hrs (pork should shred easily).
Drain root beer and stir in bbq sauce.
Serve on hamburger buns.
Great with coleslaw as well.

3/4 cup KYVAN Mild Salsa
1/4 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
Chicken Breasts

DIRECTIONS:
Combine Salsa, BBQ Sauce, and brown sugar.
Heat grill and cook chicken for 15 minutes or until done (turning and brushing chicken with sauce mixture often).
Save some of the sauce mixture to serve with final meal.

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. jumbo shrimp
1 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub to taste
1 bunch fresh cilantro (chopped)

DIRECTIONS:
Season shrimp with extra virgin olive oil and BBQ Rub.
Refrigerate for up to an hour.
Cook shrimp on grill set to medium high heat; 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove from grill and in a large bowl combine with Sweet BBQ Sauce and toss thoroughly.
Sprinkle with chopped, fresh cilantro and serve.
Enjoy with fresh vegetables and rice!

1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup Honey
1 large bag of frozen meatballs (thawed)

DIRECTIONS:
Combine BBQ sauce, Worcestershire and honey in large crock pot and stir.
Pour in meatballs and cook on low for 1hr-1hr 30 minutes. Enjoy!

1 pound flank or sirloin steak
1 tablespoon KYVAN Gourmet Steak & Hamburger Seasoning
Assortment of vegetables: mushrooms, bell peppers, Onions
16 skewers

DIRECTIONS:
Season beef with KYVAN Gourmet Steak & Hamburger Seasoning and cut beef diagonally into thin strips about 1-inch wide.
Thread beef and vegetables onto 16 skewers.
Place on grill and cook 2-3 minutes on each side brushing with BBQ sauce.

DIRECTIONS:

Combine lettuce, onions, cucumbers, peppers, cheese, and desired amount of ranch dressing together in a large bowl.
