Pimiento Cheese-Bacon Barbecue Burgers


makes 5

1 1/2 lbs 80% lean ground beef


1/2 cup Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce, divided


2 Tbsp Kyvan Dry Barbecue Rub


1 recipe Jalapeno Pimiento Cheese

10 cooked bacon slices

5 sturdy bakery-style hamburger buns, split & toasted on the grill

etc


lettuce * tomato * red onion * creole mustard


Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce

preheat the grill to 350 to 400 degrees

combine the ground beef, 1/4 cup Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce &


2 Tbsp Kyvan Dry Barbecue Rub in a large bowl

shape the beef mixture into 5 hamburger patties about 1/2-inch thick

grill the hamburger patties 4 to 5 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness


baste the patties the last few minutes w/ the remaining 1/4 cup Kyvan Sweet BBQ Sauce


grill the cut sides of the buns until grill marks appear

layer the burgers onto the bottom half of the buns


top each burger w/ a generous helping of cool

Jalapeno Pimiento Cheese & a couple of bacon slices

add additional toppings as desired

INGREDIENTS:
1 (3 pound) Whole Chicken
12 ounce can of beer or coke
1/4 cup KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub
Olive Oil

DIRECTIONS:
Place charcoal in the grill and let burn on high heat.
Once charcoals are hot, push them over to the sides of the grill leaving an open space in the middle of the grill.
Then rinse and clean chicken and coat with olive oil (inside and out).
Sprinkle BBQ rub on chicken (inside and out).
Pour 1/4 of beer/coke out of can and grease can with oil and slide inside of chicken cavity.
Place chicken upright in middle of grill (the can and legs will balance the chicken) and cover.
Allow to cook 45 minutes to 1 hour. Turn chicken while cooking if necessary.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound fresh string beans
1/2 cup onions (chopped)
1/2 cup red bell peppers (chopped)
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 oz. can mushrooms (drained)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 -1 teaspoon KYVAN DRY BBQ Rub

DIRECTIONS:
Properly prepare string beans by cleaning and cutting the stems to your preference.
Add oil to skillet and turn on medium heat.
Add the string beans then follow with the other ingredients.
Cook 15-20 minutes or until beans start to wither.

KYVAN™ BBQ Baby Back Ribs

INGREDIENTS:
2 Slabs of baby back ribs
Gallon of apple cider or apple juice
KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub
KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Clean ribs and remove the thin film on bottom of ribs.
Season ribs with desired amounts of BBQ rub and then place ribs in a deep aluminum pan.
Pour apple cider over the ribs and let marinade overnight in refrigerator (covered).
Before cooking, remove from apple cider and slightly pat ribs dry.
Add more rub if desired.
Let ribs become room temperature and set grill to 250-275 degrees (charcoal grill is preferred).
Let ribs cook for 2 hrs (don’t flip ribs) and then brush BBQ sauce on ribs and let cook another 30 minutes.
Remove ribs from grill and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. jumbo shrimp
1 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub to taste
1 bunch fresh cilantro (chopped)

DIRECTIONS:
Season shrimp with extra virgin olive oil and BBQ Rub.
Refrigerate for up to an hour.
Cook shrimp on grill set to medium high heat; 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove from grill and in a large bowl combine with Sweet BBQ Sauce and toss thoroughly.
Sprinkle with chopped, fresh cilantro and serve.
Enjoy with fresh vegetables and rice!

2 cups small cocktail shrimp, peeled and cooked
KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub
1/4 -1/2 cup KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
8 (8 inch) flour tortillas
Sour Cream, additional KYVAN Sweet BBQ Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Season shrimp with KYVAN Dry BBQ Rub and combine shrimp with
KYVAN BBQ Sauce in bowl and toss.
Layer shrimp mixture and cheese on 4 tortillas, dividing evenly.
Top each with second tortilla.
Cook about 3 to 5 minutes on a grill until toasted and cheese melts.
Cut into quarters and serve.
Serve with additional BBQ Sauce and sour cream.
